Terms of Use

Read the My Love Counter Terms of Use, including rules for accounts, shared links, uploaded photos, relationship content, moderation, availability and support.

1. The service

  • My Love Counter provides a free tool for creating relationship counters and storing optional private content such as memories, events, gifts and milestones.
  • By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts, magic links and access

  • You may create a counter without an account. To retain access across devices, you can save it using an email magic link.
  • Keep your email account, shared links and browser access private. Do not share a magic link or anonymous edit access with people you do not trust.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account or shared access to the extent permitted by law. Contact us promptly if you believe access has been compromised.

3. Your content and permissions

  • You retain responsibility for the names, photos, descriptions and other content you submit. You confirm that you have the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis to use and share it.
  • Do not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing, deceptive, infringing, sexually exploitative, non-consensual or otherwise harmful.
  • Do not upload personal information about someone else unless you have permission or another lawful basis. Do not upload material involving minors in a sexualised, exploitative or unlawful context.

4. Public links and privacy choices

  • You choose whether a counter is private, link-only or public. You understand that public counters may be indexed by search engines and link-only counters can be viewed by anyone who receives the link.
  • Before sharing, review the names, photo and start date shown on the public page. You are responsible for the consequences of choosing public or link-only visibility.

5. Reports and moderation

  • People may report a public or link-only counter for inappropriate content, harassment, spam or privacy concerns.
  • We may investigate reports and, where appropriate, restrict access, remove content, suspend sharing or delete a counter. We may take urgent action where we reasonably believe there is a safety, legal or security risk.
  • Do not submit knowingly false or abusive reports. Reporting is not a substitute for contacting emergency services or law enforcement where there is an immediate danger.

6. Availability, backups and changes

  • The service is provided as available. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, including for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent storage. Keep your own copy of important photos and information; the export feature is provided for this purpose.
  • We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms, where permitted by law.

7. Disclaimers and liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure operation.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
